Mobile Decontamination Shower Units
The 150 series of SMH Mobile Decontamination Units are the ultimate Decontamination Unit for the Asbestos Removal Contractor.
They have been designed and built to exceed the requirements of the Asbestos Removal Regulations and are internationally regarded as the best Decontamination Units available.
Constructed using whiter insulated GRP polyester plastic panels, the units are strong, robust and resistant to damage. A lightweight single axle galvanised chassis makes them easy to maneuver on site. Simply turn on the gas, connect to a 230 Volt power supply and mains water and the units are ready to use.
When finished the Units can be easily cleaned by hosing down internally, all areas have rounded corners, are fully waterproof having GRP polyester floors and waste water drain points. All units have inline waste water filters fitted as standard. Natural and electric lights available in each compartment. |

Nowhere to site a Decontamination Unit?
Many contractors have undertaken contracts where it is impossible to site a decontamination unit either because of parking restrictions on site, or that the decon unit has to be sited too far away from the working area.
Some clients actually prefer work to be carried out without transiting as they do not wish their staff or the public to see operatives wearing full face masks on their premises.

Welfare Units – Site Set Up Cabins
The New SMH 400 Series Welfare Units are the ultimate units for the contractor who needs to supply a welfare facility, a place for their men to eat and drink, clean up after work and even wash and dry towels and clothing as required.
All units will have storage cupboards table and chairs, heating & lighting. Units are available from stock or can be built to individual specifications and on-site needs as required.

Designed to meet the on-site needs of the asbestos removal contractor who does not have the use of any on-site facilities, especially on demolition sites or where clients are selective and do not wish operatives to share their canteen facilities.
The units equipment list can include a sink, shower, toilet and hob, fridge, electric sockets for a kettle and even a washing machine and tumble dryer.

Four sizes are available to seat from 4 to 12 people, normally in two rooms.
Units are designed for operatives to have a place to sit and prepare hot drinks and light meals and to keep food fresh, a fridge is included. Mugs and plates can be washed up in the sink provided with hot water available from the gas hot water heater. A table and chairs are available to eat at and can also be used as a place to undertake paperwork on site. The units are manufactured to a high standard, so that on-site meetings can take place with the client.

The pressurised smoke fluid within the canister will produce instant dry safe white smoke at the press of a button. The smoke does not linger and does not readily disperse, making it ideal for leak testing of polythene enclosures. |

|
We manufacture an instrument called Fibrecheck™ which is used to examine ambient air for the presence of asbestos fibres. Usually it is used in places where asbestos is suspected of being present, for instance when it is being stripped out of a building, or where asbestos in a fragile state is known to exist. Factories that process asbestos or other fibrous materials also use it for routine air monitoring. It is small, self-powered, simple to operate, and easily portable. |

SMH Low Pressure Monitors (LPM) allow you to keep a constant eye on the pressure, within the enclosure that you are using to contain hazardous asbestos.

SMH Controlled Multi-Point Wetstrip Injection Systems are now available with multi-point injection needles and a full range of accessories to meet all asbestos contractors individual requirements.
The new easy to use machines, can be used with needles, spray guns or the hedgehog. Excess surfactant is pumped back into the system to keep the mixture from settling. An alarm sounds and the pump stops when the Wet Strip Liquid runs out. |
