CM3 Pressure Monitor - Specification - Printer

Use this button to return to the Specification Overview

The CM3 unit is fitted with a printer to produce a hard copy of the pressure status of the containment area. The printout is in a graphical format showing pressure over time complete with the time and date and the values of the alarm levels. The printout will show if the pressure has been above or below the alarm levels, when and for how long.

The printer prints every 10 seconds but the pressure is sampled continuously and the results are compressed so that nothing is missed. Even if the pressure fell for only a fraction of a second and then recovered the event would be captured and printed out. This technique allows several hours recording to be fitted onto a single paper roll. The printer prints the axis of the graph in the correct position so there is no expensive paper to buy. The paper rolls are standard plain till rolls - available everywhere.

When the printer is switched on it prints out the name of the distributor, the serial number of the unit, the date and time, the units of measurement and the high and low alarm levels. Thee is also a space for the site name to be filled in. The time is printed on the hour and the date is printed at midnight.

The printer also gives confirmation of the settings during the programming operation. As values are entered or changed the printer confirms the result so that at the end of the programming sequence the operator has a complete printout of the settings.
